it's not what you think. This is the really wild side of the Vegas area. Its amazing how many people come to Las Vegas every year and don't spend the 25 minutes it takes to drive out to see this area of natural beauty. The first images are from Red Rock Canyon NCA (up through page 27). Following the images from Red Rock there are some pictures of the Las Vegas Wash and the Wetland Park Nature Preserve. It was pretty devastated by this years storms but signs of recovery are already underway. The infrastructure will take a while longer to replace. Next year I'll go back to add more images.
